Taryn Liechty is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Nursing with the "Dwyer School of Health Sciences" at Indiana University South Bend. She completed her both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Nursing Science in Nursing Education at Ball State University. Taryn has a clinical background in critical care nursing, still continuing to work at the bedside in the intensive care unit. She maintains pertinent skills such as ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS. Taryn's primary teaching interests are complex care and capstone clinical. Her passions include the promotion of clinical judgement and preparing students to put all they have learned into action at the bedside. Taryn also spends time preparing and leading simulated clinical experiences for all course levels.
